Right now we have Jekyll, Next, Hugo, Gatsby, Hexo, Nuxt, Pelican and a lot more of tools staticgen to build webiste easy and for free.

The concept is simple: you can divide the structure of your website in partials or components to reuse across the project, you have content written in a text format like markdown and you have an interpreter to take the content, apply the components an get the html ready to publish.

Every tool works slightly different. Above we have tools written in Ruby, Javascript, Go and Python. The different languages make learning these tools more interesting. You can have a swiss knife to create websites, it is up to you choose the easier one for you.
